FITNESS

How could women’s muscle gains ever be in vain? It just grows a little slower…” This might be the sentence many girls on their fitness journey need to hear. We often feel anxious or even doubt ourselves because our muscles don’t grow as quickly as men’s, but what truly matters has never been just about measurements.

Fitness is a transformation from the inside out. More precious than the gradually defined lines in the mirror are the qualitative changes in our mental state and physical energy. I used to feel insecure about my body and frustrated after eating a little too much, but after sticking with fitness, things quietly changed. I began to appreciate my own strength and feel genuinely confident from completing a set of exercises or achieving a new personal record. This confidence doesn’t come from others’ compliments—it comes from day after day of challenging myself.

What’s more, life gains rhythm and direction. I no longer spend my days aimlessly but organize my training and meals with purpose and planning. Because I’ve built a consistent exercise habit, I’m no longer troubled by short-term weight fluctuations. My mindset has become more relaxed and open. I’ve started to understand that health isn’t about pursuing perfection—it’s about embracing reality. Having a little belly or some extra fat—so what? They’re part of me. They don’t stop me from wearing the clothes I love, and they definitely don’t keep me from feeling strong and beautiful.

I’ve learned to eat well—no more starving or strict dieting. Instead, I focus on nutrition and enjoy good food. Because I know: to train well, I need to eat well; to feel bright and energized, my body needs enough fuel. Fitness was never about being thin—it’s about being strong: a strong body, a resilient mind, and the courage to defy stereotypes.

So believe me, every squat, every lift, every effort—none of it is wasted. They are silently building a better you. You don’t need to rush, girl. Keep going, and time will give you the best results.
